Convenient Transportation

Shunde is the traffic hub on the west bank of the Pearl River Delta, embracing 9 ports through Hong Kong and Macau, 1 Passenger port of National First Class and 8 cargo ports of National Second Class included. Key expressways, namely Tai’Ao Expressway, PRD 2nd Ring, Guang-Zhu Light Rail, Fo-kai Expressway and Guang-Ming Expressway, connected with the half-an-hour traffic circle of Shunde, form an efficient and convenient transportation network to smoothly go in and out of Shunde. By 2011, Shunde and upper-level government have invested over 35 billion RMB to build up a three-dimensional traffic network to connect Shunde and its neighbouring cities.
♣ 106 projects of expressways, highways, metros and tran-city railways;
♣ 7 expressways and 1 tran-city light rail constructed by national and provincial governments, including Tai’Ao Expressway, PRD 2nd Ring and Guang-Zhu Light Rail;
♣ 7 connection points with Guangzhou rebuilt or newly built.
