| Shunde District is one of the centers in medical experts, techniques and industries in Guangdong Province, and is provided with the base for developing the biomedical industry. This year to date, the biomedical industry has maintained the momentum of rapid growth with an increasing size and has become one of the pillar industries of the district. To facilitate the development of the biomedical industry, the “Shunde Production Base of Biomedical Technology” was set up in July 2007 with the approval of the Science and Technology Department of Guangdong Province. It will become an influential biochemical industrial base of South China and even China by creating an industrial chain of R&D, pilot test, production, quality inspection and circulation based on technological innovation using the Park as a platform. This industrial base will consist of an R&D and incubation zone, a biopharmaceutical specialized industrial zone and a trade and logistic zone. |
